It’s CT member Juli here with a down and dirty, quick and easy, make yourself look so crafty hybrid project…just in time for back to school. Our project today is an acrylic post -it note holder. All you need is a simple acrylic stand up frame, a great digital kit, and some post-it notes. This is a super simple project that you can dress-up however you’d like.
Hybrid Acrylic Post-It Note Holder
Supplies:
Viva La Diva by Eva Kipler (Sweet Shoppe)
White Cardstock
5 x 7 Acrylic Photo Frame (Target)
3 x 3 post it notes
Paper Trimmer
- Create a 5×7 canvas in your photo editting software.
- Design your post it holder making sure to create a 3.5”x 3.5” square area to place your post-it notes. Customize and decorate to match your décor or theme.
- Print design on white cardstock using a color printer.
- Slide your artwork into the frame.
- Stick the post-it notes on to the acrylic frame over the square you create.
Be creative! You could easily add a small calendar to your design to stick on the outside of the acrylic OR design a sheet for each month with a calendar on it plus a place for your sticky notes. What an awesome teacher’s gift or co-work gift (I know what I’m making for my co-worker’s for Christmas now!)

Hello my wonderful blog readers! I don’t have a new kit for you this week, and I have a FABULOUS reason why I don’t. My dear husband returned yesterday from a 13 month deployment to Iraq! Yay! **doin’ the happy dance** I had quite a few chores to do around the house to prepare for his return so I didn’t have my usual time for designing.
Don’t you fret! I managed to squeeze in enough designing time to have something new for you! I made a set a templates (clipping masks) that you are going to adore! They are so very versatile and I have a few layouts from my creative team showing how they used them. Each of them used them a little differently. There really are SO many options! Get more use out the digital kits that you buy! These are seriously a must have for your digi-stash!

For my Pick of the Week I have chosen a layout by Lilach! Lilach is a new addition to my fabulous group of Divas (although I have known her since the beginning of my designing career … around 4 years). This layout is just darling. I love everything about it! Lilach used the page mat with the heart shapes and sized it down so that she could use it behind her photos. I think it is the PERFECT addition to the page! It makes the photos really pop out at you! Great work, Lilach!!

I didn’t finish this kit until late last night (just hours before the new releases were available), so my fabulous Divas didn’t have much time to work with it. A few girls (bless their hearts) dropped everything they were doing to make me a layout! What a fabulous group of girls I have working for me.
My Pick of the Week is by Laura. I just love how she layered the beaded circles under her photo. Very eye catching! Great work, Laura!

I have chosen a layout by Sara for my pick of the week. I just adore this layout. Sara used a template in making this layout. I personally love to use templates to get my mojo going when scrapping! Sara rocked this template and the resulting layout is stunning! I love the dark background paper and the patterned papers she chose for the paper strips. I also really like how she did the title!
