After much consideration and going back and forth (and back and forth) I was finally able to decide on a few new girls to add to my team. Not only did I add 11 new divas, but I am also taking 11 guest divas over the next few months!

It is Sweet Saturday and you know what that means… new product releases at Sweet Shoppe Designs. New Releases are 20% for the first day of release (July 10, 2010) so be sure to head on over to the store and check out all of the new yumminess!
Did you hear that I am having a Creative Team Call? Now is your chance to become one of Eva’s Divas! Who doesn’t want to be a diva? Check out the announcement ad I made (posted below) to find out the requirements and how to apply. I don’t have open calls very often. I think the last open CT Call I had was around 3 years ago! My Head Diva (Sara) is a HUGE fan of date elements. I think she has purchased every single set ever available at Sweet Shoppe! She insisted that I should offer them separately so that the peeps who like date elements can buy them. Remember… they ARE included in the kit. Please do not purchase both products.
I had a super hard time deciding on my Pick of the Week! If you look a bit further down in this post you will see how many layouts my divas made! There were soooooo many fabulous pages to choose from. After much deliberation I chose this layout by Heather KS as my pick this week. I chose it for many reasons. First off I love the photo treatment. It goes perfectly with the kraft paper background. I also love how Heather has scattered the flower elements. It reminds me of a few wonderful traditional paper layouts that I have seen with scattered elements. I especially like the little tips of flowers falling off the edge of the page. Heather used one of the cluster frames that is included in the kit, but instead of putting 4 photos in it, she let her creativity flow and used the frame a bit differently. I love it! The Divas went all out this week with their creativity! I have so many layouts from the team that I had a hard time fitting them on a preview! I know the preview is smaller than usual since I put 3 layouts in each row, but with so many fabulous layouts I had to try to make the image size a bit smaller. You can most definitely see how versatile this kit is. I love all of the kraft paper elements and papers! A little birthday poem for you. 
Today I had a birthday
and I would like to say
I don’t feel one bit different
than I did yesterday.
I was 42 years old last night
when I crawled into bed
but when I woke this morning
you’re 43 now my husband said.
I thought that I’d look older
when this birthday really came
but I looked in the mirror
and found I looked the same.
Yes… today is my 43rd birthday. Geez I am feeling so very old. Last night my teenage son dyed his hair BRIGHT red (think Ronald McDonald). Woe is me… I am feeling so very old and on top of that I am also feeling embarrassed at the thought of going out to dinner tonight and sitting next to my son. LOL

Hi Blog Readers!
I am leaving tomorrow (Tuesday, October 6th) for my vacation to Santa Fe. I will be visiting my parents, my brother, and seeing friends that I grew up with. I also purposely chose the dates of my vacation to coincide with the International Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque. It is such a fabulous event and so spectacular. I have already packed my good camera and plan on taking loads of cool photos. If you want to check out the website for the Balloon Fiesta it is HERE. My mama and I plan on going to one of the mass ascensions as well as the “special shapes” ascension. Hot air balloons are such a spectacular site.
I will be gone from October 6 – 15. I thought I would be taking my laptop with me, but I do not have room for it. My mama does have a nice desktop computer with DSL so I will definitely have access to the internet. I will be checking my email and will try to check in every once in a while here in the forums.

Even though I didn’t get this new kit to my team of Creative Divas until yesterday afternoon late, they came through with flying colors and managed to make me some FABULOUS layouts using this versatile kit.
My Pick of the Week is a layout by Lilach. I love the blocking technique that Lilach used and her title work is exceptional! I just LOVE this layout! Great work, Lilach! Two thumbs up for you, Miss Diva!

I have had the honor of working with some of the best designers in the digital scrapbooking community on a new charity collaboriate mega kit! This kit turned out every better than I expected. I have personally worked with her and have found her to be very honest and trustworthy. All of the profits will be going to the Autism Society of America.
